 कलियों के जिगर अफ़सुर्दा हैं, कांटों की ज़बानें सूखी हैं हम बाग़ के धोखे में शायद जंगल के किनारे आ बैठे। ✅ Meaning (English): The buds are withered, the thorns are dry— perhaps we thought it was a garden, but we ended up near a jungle. 🧠 Insight: Life appears like a beautiful garden , but turns out to be suffering We are living under a false assumption (illusion/maya) This realization triggers the question: 👉 “Where did we go wrong?”

 मुझे दिल की धड़कनों का नहीं एतिबार ‘माहिर’ कभी हो गईं शिकवे, कभी बन गईं दुआएं। ✅ Meaning (English): I no longer trust the beats of my heart— one moment they complain, the next they turn into prayers. 🧠 Insight: The human mind/emotions are: Unstable Contradictory Therefore: 👉 You cannot rely on feelings for truth 👉 You need awareness beyond the mind

 खुदा की देन है जिसको नसीब हो जाए हर एक दिल को ग़म-ए-जाविदां नहीं मिलता। ✅ Meaning (English): It is God’s gift if one receives it— not every heart gets the awareness of eternal sorrow. 🧠 Insight: Deep realization of suffering is rare but valuable This “eternal sorrow” is actually: 👉 awareness that worldly life cannot satisfy you This realization becomes the starting point of awakening

 कम से कम मौत से ऐसी मुझे उम्मीद नहीं ज़िंदगी तूने तो धोखे पे दिया है धोखा। ✅ Meaning (English): At least I don’t expect such deception from death— but life has deceived me again and again. 🧠 Insight: Life repeatedly promises happiness but delivers disappointment Desire creates a cycle of illusion → hope → frustration

 तबीबों से मैं क्या पूछूं इलाज-ए-दर्द-ए-दिल मरज़ जब ज़िंदगी खुद हो तो फिर उसकी दवा क्या है। ✅ Meaning (English): Why should I ask doctors how to cure the pain of the heart? When life itself is the disease, what cure can there be? 🧠 Insight: Central idea of Mahavira: Life (as we live it) = suffering/bondage You cannot fix suffering with small solutions 👉 You must transcend the entire system (ego/desire)

 किश्ती को भंवर में घिरने दे, मौजों के थपेड़े सहने दे जिंदों में अगर जीना है तुझे, तूफान की हलचल रहने दे। धारे के मुताबिक बहना क्या, तौहीने-दस्त-ओ-बाज़ू है परवर्द-ए-तूफां किश्ती को धारे के मुख़ालिफ बहने दे। ✅ Meaning (English): Let the boat be surrounded by whirlpools, let it endure the waves— if you truly want to live, allow the storms. What is the point of flowing with the current? That insults your strength— let the storm-nurtured boat move against the current. 🧠 Insight: This reflects Mahavira’s path : Not surrender, but struggle and inner strength Growth comes from resistance, not comfort Spiritual awakening requires going against the flow of desires .

 जब देखिए कुछ और ही आलम है तुम्हारा हर बार अजब रंग है, हर बार अजब रूप। ✅ Meaning (English): Whenever I look at you, you appear in a different state— each time with a new color, a new form. 🧠 Insight: Reality (truth/divine) appears in many forms and expressions . Every spiritual path reveals truth in a unique way . Reinforces: no single path has a monopoly on truth.

  फूल, गुल, शम्मो-कमर सारे ही थे पर हमें उनमें तुम्हीं भाए बहुत। ✅ Meaning (English): There were many beautiful things—flowers, beauty, moon-like faces— but among them, you were the one I loved most. 🧠 Insight: Truth has many paths/forms , but each person resonates with one. Don’t ask “which path is right?” → ask “which suits me?” This supports the idea of choosing between devotion (Narada) or discipline (Mahavira)
